Terms & Conditions


  • Riders are required to attend sessions wearing suitable clothing such as long trousers, long sleeves, gloves and trainers. No open toe shoes, wellies or skirts are allowed to be worn during sessions.
  • Riders must wear a helmet complying to EN1078 (this will be printed inside the helmet) at all times. No helmet - No cycling.
  • Bikes used within our sessions must be safe to use with no missing parts. This includes all components to be tight, 2 working brakes on pedal bikes and pumped up tires etc. Should you have any concerns please book the bike into our shop to be checked or repaired by contacting cycletraining@b-buddies.com.
  • From after October half term until it is light enough again riders must attend with a front bike light for evening outdoor sessions.
  • Should you require bike hire for pedal bikes, this must be booked in advance by contacting cycletraining@b-buddies.com due to limited bikes being available and only those booked out being taken to the sessions. Balance bikes are included within session costs and available to borrow at each session.
  • For learning to ride, riders are required to reach the floor with their feet flat.
  • A responsible adult over the age of 18 must remain within the hall for Balance Buddies Clubs.
  • A responsible adult over the age of 18 must remain on site for Biking Buddies Courses but not necessarily within the hall.
  • Go Ride Clubs and CycleSkills Clubs are drop off sessions therefore riders must be dropped off and collected by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at the designated meeting point. They must be available to return to the venue promptly should they be required to.
  • B-BUDDIES CIC or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.
  • B-BUDDIES CIC reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  • You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing us at cycletraining@b-buddies.com.
  • You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing us at cycletraining@b-buddies.com.
  • If you wish to take photos or videos within a session please do not get any other rider in the frame unless with their adult's permission.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
  • You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.
  • We don't issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.
  • If there are any sessions missed due to typical bad weather or not enough riders to run, B-BUDDIES CIC will offer a make-up session.
  • If you would like to cancel a booking this must be requested to us via email to cycletraining@b-buddies.com at least 7 days before the start of the booking. Individual dates cannot be refunded only block bookings as a whole. £1 will be deducted from your refund due to the booking fee.
